Distribution: High desert riparian canyons to dry coniferous forest from ~ 5,100-6,250 ft. elev. in central Arizona, California Sierras and parts of Colorado, Utah, Montana and Oregon.
Seasonality
and Size:
Early September - late October. FWL ~ 19-23 mm.

Similar Species:
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • barnesii Hulst 1896 (Gonodontis) - MONA 1983: 6959
  • Taxonomic Notes: Tetracis barnesii (Hulst, 1896), n. comb. in Ferris & Schmidt (2010), was formerly in the genus Synaxis.
