Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: rhombiferellum (Frey & Boll, 1876) (Coriscium); TL: Texas. rhombiderella; Davis, 1983 (Acrocercops) missp. Taxonomic Notes: Acrocercops rhombiferellum (Frey & Boll, 1876) was treated as a synonym of "A. quinquestrigella [sic] Chambers" (an emendation of quinquistrigella Chambers 1875) without explanation. Davis (in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist)) treated "rhombiderella [sic]" as a valid species, apparently having never seen the type specimen.
