Similar Species:
  • Compsolechia crescentifasciella (Chambers, 1874) and comparanda have been confused in collections. The true identity of crescentifasciella is currently unknown, and the relationship between these two species remains unclear.

Synonymy: Compsolechia comparanda Meyrick, 1929
Taxonomic Notes: Anacampsis comparanda (Meyrick, 1929): Clarke (1969) designated a lectotytpe and illustrated both habitus and genitalia, see references.
