Distribution: Caution: A single range map dot for a Canadian province may represent records without specific location data. Type locality (tenera): Kukak Bay, AK. Type locality (ferida): Miniota, MB. Type locality (miniota): Newfoundland. Similar Species: Mniotype ducta (Grote, 1878) Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Hadena tenera Smith, 1900 • Hadena ferida Smith, 1908 • Hadena fervida Franclemont & Todd, 1983 • Xylophasia miniota Smith, 1908 Taxonomic Notes: Mniotype tenera (Smith, 1900) includes as synonym Mniotype miniota [9985] and Mniotype fervida [9986].
