Host familiy: Brassicaceae Ericaceae Fagaceae Poaceae Polygonaceae Rosaceae Salicaceae Sapindaceae[Aceraceae] Solanaceae Ulmaceae. Host genera: Acer Brassica Malus Nicotiana Populus Prunus Quercus Rumex Salix Ulmus Vaccinium. Notes: polyphagous on trees & shrubs, including grass (Heppner 2007), very broad generalist on many kinds of herbs & hardwoods (Crabo et al 2014). (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)

| Taxonomic Notes: |
Sunira bicolorago, formerly placed in the genus Agrochola, includes as a synonym Sunira straminea [9959] in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010). Treated as a subgenus of Agrochola in Ronkay et al. (2001), Sunira was retuned to full genus in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010). |
