  • 9675.1 Elaphria hypophaea has forewing orbicular and reniform spots obscure and not filled with dark scales as in 9675 E. fusimacula, Jim Troubridge (pers. comm., 21/11/2018)

  • Taxonomic Notes: Elaphria hypophaea (Hampson, 1920) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico from re-identified specimens of 9675 E. fusimacula from southern Texas, ZooKeys, 788: 248.
