Taxonomic Notes: Acronicta lupini (Grote, 1873), formerly in the genus Merolonche (Lafontaine & Schmidt 2010), includes as synonyms atlinensis Barnes & Benjamin [9278] (Lafontaine & Schmidt 2010), ursina Smith [9279] (Pohl et al. 2010), and australis Mustelin & Leuschner, 2000 [9275.1] (Schmidt & Anweiler 2020).
