Distribution: Canada: BC; USA: WA OR, ID, CA, NV, WY, UT, AZ, NM, TX (Schmidt & Anweiler 2020).
Type locality: Colorado.
Similar Species:
  • Acronicta hasta (Guenée, 1852)
  • Acronicta thoracica (Grote, 1880)
