Distribution: Canada: BC; USA: WA OR, ID, CA, NV, WY, UT, AZ, NM, TX (Schmidt & Anweiler 2020). Type locality: Colorado. Similar Species: Acronicta hasta (Guenée, 1852) Acronicta thoracica (Grote, 1880) Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
