Holotype locality: Estes Park, Larimer Co., CO.

Wingspan: male ~ 44-55; female ~ >60.

Description/
Field Marks:
  • Large size.
  • Dark gray-black, or gray-brown (Mexico only) forewing
  • Contrasting white hindwing
  • Similar Species:
