Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Chrysopsis Helianthus Heterotheca Simsia Viguiera.  Host genera: Chrysopsis Helianthus Heterotheca Simsia Viguiera.  Host extended: Chrysopsis, Helianthus, Heterotheca, Simsia, Viguiera.  Host extended: Sarracenia(?) records ikely refer to Exyra semicrocea (Powell & Opler 2009).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 931307 Ponometia bicolorata 931310 Ponometia clausula: is smaller with grayer outer half of forwing. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: semiflava (Guenée, 1852) (Xanthoptera) - MONA 1983: 9085; TL: North America. Taxonomic Notes: Ponometia semiflava: Formerly placed in the genus Tarachidia, ZooKeys, 39: 1-160.
