Synonymy: pulcherrimus Grote 1865 (Ripogenus) - MONA 1983: 8968; Type locality: Hoboken, NJ dentifera Walker 1865 (Eutelia) Taxonomic Notes: Marathyssa pulcherrimus (Grote, 1865), new combination following Zahiri et al. (2023), was formerly in the genus Eutelia.
