Athyrma ganglio Hübner, [1831] has forewing with a comma-shaped reniform spot.
Taxonomic Notes: 8583.1 Athyrma ganglio Hübner, [1831] was previously listed as Athyrma ganglio of authors, not Hübner, [1831], in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010). Jim Troubridge (pers. comm., 11/3/2018) advises that the population in Florida is not an undescribed species but instead represents an extension of the known range for true ganglio and will be formally revised in a soon to be published work.
