Similar Species: 8583.1 Athyrma ganglio has a comma-shaped reniform spot vs. hourglass-shape of A. fakahatchee. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: fakahatchee Troubridge, 2020 (Athyrma)   Type locality: Holotype: USA: Florida, Collier Co. adjutrix of authors; (not Cramer, [1780]) (Phalaena) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Athyrma fakahatchee Troubridge, 2020, n. sp., Insecta Mundi, 0789: 24; Fig. 35, 69, 127, was formerly listed as Athyrma adjutrix of authors; (not Cramer, [1780]) in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010).
