Taxonomic Notes: Litoprosopus coachella Hill, 1921, formerly in the family Erebidae, is placed in the subfamily Dyopsinae within the family Noctuidae, revised status in Zahiri et al. (2013), (Lafontaine & Schmidt 2015).
