Description/
Field Marks:
Wingspan: ♂ = 37-52 mm (CNC, 2022), type = 46 mm; ♀ averages larger, up to 60 mm (Troubridge coll., 2022).
Similar Species:

Synonymy: Litoprosopus bahamensis Hampson, 1926
Taxonomic Notes: Litoprosopus bahamensis Hampson, 1926, formerly in the family Erebidae, is placed in the subfamily Dyopsinae within the family Noctuidae, revised status in Zahiri et al. (2013), (Lafontaine & Schmidt 2015).
