Host familiy: Apiaceae Fagaceae Juglandaceae Magnoliaceae Platanaceae Rosaceae Detritophagous.  Host genera: Carya Castanea Liriodendron Platanus Prunus Quercus Detritophagous[plant].  Notes: tunnels into fallen branchs & trunks (Wagner et al 2011); decaying wood (Robinson et al 2002); polyphagous on dead foliage (Poole 1989); polyphagous on bark (Kimball 1965).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
