Taxonomic Notes: |
Zanclognatha jacchusalis includes as a synonym ochreipennis Grote, 1872 [8353] in Lafontaine & Honey (2009) and as subspecies Z. bryanti Barnes, 1928, a former subspecies of ochreipennis, in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2013) and lutalba Smith, 1906 [8354]. This species, formerly listed as 8352 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), was renumbered when it was synonymized with ochreipennis and it's former synonym marcidilinea (Grote, 1872) was returned to full species. |
