Distribution: Caution: A single range map dot for a Canadian province may represent records without specific location data.
Apparently an Appalachian endemic, Hugh McGuinness (pers. comm., 11/8/2018). Mapping includes an undescribed species. See Similar Species below.
Similar Species:
  • At the USNM, we have this [image by Jim Eckert] as an undescribed species in Idia that ranges from at least NS to PA, and possibly AK... I laurentii appears to be an Appalachian endemic that is quite blackish in coloration." - Hugh McGuinness (pers. comm., 11/8/2018). It is unclear how to separate these with confidence and both are shown.
