Synonymy: virginalis Boisduval 1852 (Chelonia) - MONA 1983: 8163 guttata Boisduval 1852 (Agarista) ochracea Stretch 1872 (Euprepia) Taxonomic Notes: Arctia virginalis (Boisduval, 1852) was transferred from the genus Platyprepia n. syn. in Ronka et al. (2016).
