Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae Agaricaceae[Fungi] Amaranthaceae[Chenopodiaceae] Plantaginaceae Polygonaceae.  Host genera: Chenopodium Lactuca Plantago Polygonum[unresolved] Taraxacum Agaricus[Fungi].  Notes: polyphagous on low plants (Forbes 1960).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: Tibiae and tarsi solid white laterally, bordered by solid black medially along the interior of the tibiae/tarsi with a clear demarcation and no banding on tarsi - BugGuide (accessed 5/25/2020).
