Distribution: USA: UT, CO, AZ, NM, western TX - Miller et al. (2021) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: coloradensis Edwards 1885 (Janassa [sic]) - MONA 1983: 8015; Type locality: Denver, CO., Salt Lake, UT cerriben Dyar 1915 (Dicentria); Type locality: Zacualpán, Mexico Taxonomic Notes: Ianassa coloradensis Edwards, 1885, n. comb. in Becker (2014), formerly placed in the genus Oligocentria, includes as a new synonym Ianassa cerriben (Dyar, 1915) in Miller et al. (2021).
