Type locality: Denver CO.
Similar Species:
  • Cecrita lunata Edwards, 1884 is best separated by genitalia where ranges overlap.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Taxonomic Notes: Cecrita plumosa (Edwards, 1886), rev. stat. and n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly a synonym of 7993 Cecrita lunata Edwards, 1884 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
