Similar Species:
  • Cecrita plumosa (Edwards, 1886) is best separated by genitalia where ranges overlap.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy: Heterocampa lunata Edwards, 1884
Taxonomic Notes: Cecrita lunata (Edwards, 1884), n. comb. in Becker (2014), was formerly in the genus Heterocampa.
