Furcula gigans (McDunnough, 1922): "NA populations were listed under the name F. furcula in Miller et al. (2018), but St Laurent et al. (2023), using phylogenomics, determined that the NA populations recently treated as F. furcula were more appropriately treated as a separate species, using the oldest available name F. gigans." (Schmidt & St Laurent in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). |
