Distribution: Southern British Columbia south to California, eastward to southern Alberta, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. From ~ 2,850 - 7,600 ft. elev. Desert riparian canyons to dry coniferous forest. Seasonality and Size: Early September - late November. FWL ~ 17-23 mm. Genitalia: See Ferris & Schmidt (2010). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: formosa Hulst 1896 (Gonodontis) - MONA 1983: 6958 Taxonomic Notes: Tetracis formosa (Hulst, 1896), n. comb. in Ferris & Schmidt (2010), was formerly in the genus Synaxis.
