Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Colchicaceae[Liliaceae] Convallariaceae Fagaceae Pinaceae Salicaceae Sapindaceae Ulmaceae.  Host genera: Acer Alnus Betula Fagus Picea Quercus Populus Salix Ulmus Uvularia.  Notes: polyphagous on conifers (Wagner et al 1997); many forest trees,with reports of conifers (Wagner 2005).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
