Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Clethraceae Fagaceae Malvaceae[Tiliaceae] Myricaceae Oleaceae Rosaceae Salicaceae Ulmaceae.  Host genera: Alnus Clethra Fraxinus Myrica[unresolved] Malus Populus Prunus Quercus Tilia Ulmus.  Notes: likely many other woody plants (Wagner 2005).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
