Synonymy: • Melanochroia geometroides Walker, 1854 • Glaucopis mors Lucas, 1857 Taxonomic Notes: Melanchroia geometroides Walker, 1854, incorrectly listed in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) with the genus spelling "Melanochroia", was corrected to Melanchroia in Parsons et al. (1999).
