Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Vachellia[=Acacia].  Host genera: Vachellia[=Acacia].  Host extended: Vachellia.  Host extended: does not list Robinia (Ferguson 2008).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: nigricomma (Warren, 1904) (Semiothisa) - MONA 1983: 6407 heliothidata of authors; (not Guenée, [1858]) (Sciagraphia) misappl. nigrocomina; (McDunnough, 1938) (Rindgea) missp.; TL: (no type). Taxonomic Notes: Frederickia nigricomma (Warren, 1904), n. comb. (Rajaei, Hausmann & Sihvonen 2022). The former genus name Rindgea Ferguson, 2008 is a junior primary homonym of Rindgea Johnson, 1993.
