STAT. - MONA 1983: 6179 Taxonomic Notes: Hellinsia meyricki (Barnes & Lindsey, 1921), rev. stat. (Matthews in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was treated as a synonym of Hellinsia fieldi (Wright, 1921) in Gielis (2003) and subsequently listed as a full species based on larval and pupal characteristics, (unpublished MS) in Matthews (2016), www.plumemoth.com, accessed May, 2017.
