Synonymy: Sarata nigrifasciella Ragonot, 1887
Taxonomic Notes: Megasis nigrifasciella (Ragonot, 1887) was formerly listed listed in the genus Sarata, a name synonymized with Megasis in Leraut (2021). This treatment was overlooked by Scholtens & Hayden (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
