Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Pinaceae.  Host genera: Picea Pinus.  Notes: pine cones (Schaber 1981); bore into pine cones (Mutuura & Munroe 1972); flowers & cones (Whitehouse et al 2011).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
