Taxonomic Notes: Acallis griphalis (Hulst, 1886) includes as a synonyms Acallis gripalis (Hulst, 1886) (orig. missp.) (Hulst 1886:xxiv) and Accalis centralis in Solis et al. (2013). The name "griphalis" was erroneously treated as a misspelling in Hodges et al. (1983).
