Host familiy: Cabombaceae Hydrocharitaceae Nelumbonaceae Nymphaeaceae Onagraceae Pontederiaceae Potamogetonaceae.  Host genera: Brasenia Limnobium Ludwigia Nelumbo Nuphar Nymphaea Potamogeton.  Notes: stems (Robinson et al 2002); leaves, older larva bore into stem (Munroe 1972a); Nymphaea(?)
