Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Alismaticeae Araceae Cabombaceae Hydrocharitaceae Lemnaceae Menyanthaceae Polygonaceae Pontederiaceae Potamogetonaceae Typhaceae[Sparganiaceae].  Host genera: Brasenia Eichhornia Lemna Limnobium Menyanthes Orontium Polygonum[unresolved] Potamogeton Sagittaria Sparganium Vallisneria.  Notes: polyphagous on aquatic plants (Forbes 1923); aquatic plants (Munroe 1972a).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025 [accessed 6xii2025]) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
