Distribution: Type locality (cheneyorum): Madera Canyon, Pima Co., AZ. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Euptychia cheneyorum Chermock, 1949 Taxonomic Notes: Cissia cheneyorum (Chermock, 1949), formerly a subspecies of 4579 Cissia rubricata (Edwards, 1871), is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2022).
