Synonymy: arizonae Freeman 1993 (Amblyscirtes); Type locality: Santa Cruz Co., AZ elissa of authors not Godman 1900 (Amblyscirtes) Taxonomic Notes: Amblyscirtes arizonae Freeman, 1993, described as a subspecies of [4095] Amblyscirtes elissa Godman, 1900, is raised to full species status in Zhang et al. (2020). "True" elissa is extralimital north of Mexico.
