Synonymy: • Erycides urania Westwood, 1852 Taxonomic Notes: Phocides urania (Westwood, 1852) is listed as "UNVER.; STRAY" north of Mexico in Pelham & Pohl in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023). The type of Erycides texana Scudder, 1872:47, a synonym of urania, was described from Texas but the provenance is questioned in Pelham (208:427) as are records from Arizona in Bailowitz and Brock (1991).
