Synonymy: temerana (Busck, 1907) (Phalonia) - MONA 1983: 3854 cincinnatana (Kearfott, 1907) (Phalonia) Taxonomic Notes: Cochylichroa temerana (Busck, 1907), formerly in the genus Cochylis, is placed in the genus Cochylichroa in Brown (2019), Zootaxa, 4671(2):195-222.
