Distribution: Introduced from Europe. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: aceriana Duponchel 1842 (Penthina) Taxonomic Notes: Gypsonoma aceriana (Duponchel, 1842) is now recognized among the North American fauna north of Mexico.
