Distribution: Southern CA to southeastern NM and/or westernmost TX (based on BOLD data). Holotype: "Olancha, Inyo County,California." Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Xylesthia albicans Braun, 1923 Taxonomic Notes: Xylesthia albicans Braun, 1923 is represented at BOLD by several BIN groups which may include undescribed species. It is unclear which BIN(s) represents "true" albicans.
