Synonymy: augustella (Clarke, 1933) (Choreutis) - MONA 1983: 2639   Type locality: Holotype: Mt. Baker (Skyline Ridge), Whatcom Co., WA. Taxonomic Notes: Neocaloreas augustella (Clarke, 1933), n. comb. in Heppner (2022), was formerly in the genus Caloreas, Lepidoptera Novae, 15(1-2): 61.
