Synonymy: cockerella (Busck, 1903) (Abebaea) - MONA 1983: 2373   Type locality: MesillaPark, NM. heteraula (Meyrick, 1927) (Melitonympha)   Type locality: Alpine, TX. Taxonomic Notes: Ypsolopha cockerella (Busck, 1903) includes as a synonym Ypsolopha heteraula (Meyrick, 1927) in Clarke (1965), a treatment apparently overlooked in Hodges et al. (1983) (Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
