Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Baccharis.  Host extended: makes stem galls (Povolny 1998b).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: powelli Povolný, 1998 (Gnorimoschema) - MONA 1983: [NEW] Taxonomic Notes: Gnorimoschema powelli Povolny, 1998, n. sp., Stapfia, v. 55, p. 327-347, was formerly in the genus Neoschema, Zootaxa, 2231: 24.
