Miner on Ceanothus crassifolius, erroneously identified as Prunus ilicifolia in the original description (Braun, 1972). |
Description/ Field Marks: |
Forewings gray with faint brownish tinge , evenly and finely irrorate (Braun 1972). |
Similar Species: |
- Tischeria ceanothi Walsingham, 1890 lacks the "minutely and uniformly irrorate aspect of the fore wings [of immaculata]" and is separated by genitalia (Braun 1972).
- Tischeria ambigua Braun, 1915
