Distribution: Type locality: Madera Canyon, Santa Rita Mts., Santa Cruz Co., AZ.
Similar Species:
  • Synorthodes auriginea is smaller, FWL=12-13mm vs. 15-16mm, and overall lighter. The reniform and orbicular are more completely ringed in yellow. The yellow st. line lacks inwardly pointing triangular black spots.
