Lacinipolia nr. laudabilis (Guenée, 1852) refers to Lacinipolia laudabilis ab. scribillata (Draudt, 1924), a biological good species without a valid name first reported in the US from Texas in the 2004 LepSoc Season Summary. In accordance with ICZN rules, the name "scribillata" is treated as invalid by Schmidt (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023) because it was described as an aberration. |
