Host familiy: Asteraceae Betulaceae Ericaceae Fagaceae Juglandaceae Rosaceae. Host genera: Amelanchier Betula Carya Quercus Taraxacum Vaccinium. Notes: deciduous trees & low plants (Beadle & Leckie 2012); Polyphagous on deciduous trees (Poole 1989); buds, acorns (Wagner et al 2011); generalist on many kinds of hardwoods (Crabo et al 2014).
