Synonymy: salicarum (Walker, 1857) (Hydraecia) - MONA 1983: 10996 claviformis (Morrison, 1875) (Agrotis); TL: Massachusetts. orilliana (Grote, 1875) (Pachnobia) Taxonomic Notes: Cerastis salicarum: Formerly placed in the genus Metalepsis.
