Distribution: Canada: QC to BC; USA: NY, WA, WY, CO - Adamski & Peters (1986). Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Salicaceae.  Host genera: Populus Salix.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Genitalia: See Heinrich (1926), Adamski & Peters (1986). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: infida (Heinrich, 1926) (Aphania) - MONA 1983: 2767; TL: St. Johns, QC.
